Wikitude for iPhone

"The iPhone version of the Wikitude World Browser will bring iPhone experience to a new dimension." Rudolf Schamberger, CEO easyMOBIZ

Mobilizy chose easyMOBIZ to support the iPhone development of Wikitude. Our team of specialists helped with our knowledge and expertise to deliver a high quality application for the iPhone. We are excited by what we have achieved in our cooperation with Mobilizy.

What is Augmented Reality (for mobile phones)?

Augmented reality puts a layer of computer-generated imagery over the mobile phone camera viewfinder as a way to expand the real-world. With the release of the iPhone Operating System 3.1, Apple enabled developers to program and distribute Augmented Reality Apps for the iPhone, one of them being Wikitude.

Wikitude

What is Wikitude?

Mobilizy, a Salzburg based company, first developed Wikitude for Googles' Android mobile phone. In cooperation with easyMOBIZ Wikitude was brought to the iPhone. Wikitude can be seen as a new kind of travelers' guide, providing location based information in a matter of seconds. Wikitude uses the built in localization functions, the compass and combines it with various sources such as Wikipedia and Qype to provide a new way to see the world.
