Wikitude for iPhone
Mobilizy, a Salzburg based company, first developed Wikitude for Google Android smartphone. In cooperation with easyMOBIZ Wikitude was brought to the iPhone. The challenge was to port the Google Android software to the iPhone, in a way where it uses all of the iPhones resources.
Wikitude can be seen as a new kind of travelers' guide, providing location based information in a matter of seconds. Wikitude uses the built in localisation functions, the compass and combines it with various sources such as Wikipedia and Qype to provide a new way to see the world.
